Bone Creation Operation

Bone dust (graft) procedure is a method used to increase the volume of bone, support the soft tissue and prepare the patient for the implant operation in cases of lack of hard tissue (bone). Different types of materials are applied to the area where bone loss is in question using different methods and then the waiting (union) period begins. The bone augmentation process can be completed using bone dust, bone blocks or real bone fragments taken from the person. The waiting period after this kind of operations is usually from 6 to 8 months. Since the same method cannot be applied in each case, it is important to be careful when choosing the appropriate material and method for each case.
